Necessary process before four-wheel alignment

Any vehicle requires regular maintenance and repairs, as only this can effectively extend the driving time of the car and drive safely. We know that among many maintenance items, four-wheel positioning is a more important one, especially with the continuous updating of technology and four-wheel positioning instrument, it has provided many conveniences for four-wheel positioning.

1.Check before positioning. There are five items to check:

(1) equipment quality;

(2) inspection of automobile tires;

(3) inspection of shock absorbers;

(4) inspection of wheel bearings;

(5) swing arms, bushings and ball joints

2.Computer detection. Computer testing varies by detector and vehicle. But the specific steps are the same. Generally, you need to perform vehicle preparation, customer information registration, and turn the steering wheel to perform preparations for testing, which can be done according to the instruction manual of the detector.

3.Vehicle body adjustment. According to the test results, analyze the data and make an accurate adjustment plan.

4.Review after adjustment. After adjustment, re-measure each angle value to compare it with the standard data to see if it is within the range of the vehicle detection data. If it is not within the range of the detection data, please readjust and retest until the adjusted data is within the range of the standard data.

5.Test run. Because a car is a complex group combination, four-wheel alignment can only modify its local parameters. Therefore, even if the local parameters measured on the measurement platform are accurate, it is difficult to ensure that they are consistent with the overall parameters of the car, so roads are also required test.

6.Corrected. Through road tests, find out the deficiencies and re-establish the adjustment plan, especially for those cars that have experienced trauma, their overall parameters have changed greatly. Even if the local parameters are adjusted accurately, they may not meet the requirements of overall coordination. This requires positioning technicians to “redesign” the positioning parameters of special vehicles so that local parameters and overall parameters are well matched to achieve the requirements of stability, safety and comfort.
